Jan Fischer (Czech actor)

Jan Fischer was a Czech Jewish actor and theatre director who made significant contributions to the field of film. His career was marked by resilience and adaptability, particularly during World War II when he was transported to the Jewish ghetto at Terezín. Despite the challenging circumstances, Fischer continued to pursue his passion for theatre, directing plays in the ghetto.
