Miklós Vig

Miklós Vig was a Hungarian musician and performer, active in the entertainment industry during the early 20th century. Born on 11 July 1898 in Budapest, he pursued a multifaceted career that spanned various fields, including music, theater, and comedy. As a singer, Vig was particularly known for his work in cabaret and jazz, genres that were gaining popularity during his time.

Vig's career flourished in the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s, with roles as an actor, comedian, and theater secretary. His life was tragically cut short when he was murdered in Budapest on 19 December 1944 by members of the Arrow Cross Party. Despite his untimely death, Vig left a mark on Hungary's cultural scene, contributing to the country's rich musical and theatrical heritage during a tumultuous period in its history.
