Moriz Rosenthal

Moriz Rosenthal was a renowned Polish pianist and composer, born in 1862. His exceptional talent led him to become a distinguished pupil of the illustrious Franz Liszt, under whose guidance he refined his skills. As a result, Rosenthal was able to establish himself as a prominent figure in the musical world of his time.

Throughout his career, Rosenthal had the privilege of befriending and collaborating with some of the most celebrated musicians of his era. His circle of acquaintances included notable composers such as Johannes Brahms, Johann Strauss, and Camille Saint-Saëns, as well as fellow pianists like Anton Rubinstein and Hans von Bülow. Additionally, he was also associated with composers Jules Massenet and Isaac Albéniz, demonstrating the breadth of his musical connections. Rosenthal passed away in 1946, leaving behind a legacy as a talented pianist and composer.
