Avraham Toledano

Israeli politician

Avraham Toledano is a prominent figure in Israeli politics, with a background rooted in Judaism. His involvement in religious education is notable, having served as the Mashgiach ruchani of the Yeshivat Haraayon Hayehudi, a position that underscores his commitment to Jewish scholarship and spiritual guidance.

Toledano's foray into politics is marked by his association with the Kach party. In 1988, he was listed as the fourth candidate on the Kach Knesset list, demonstrating his rising profile within the party. Following the murder of Rabbi Meir Kahane, Toledano briefly assumed leadership of Kach, playing a transitional role before Baruch Marzel took the reins. This period in his career highlights his involvement in the party's affairs and his capacity for leadership within a significant, albeit controversial, political movement in Israel.
