Sarah Polley

Sarah Polley is a Canadian filmmaker and actress born in 1979. She began her career as a child actress, gaining recognition for her portrayal of Ramona Quimby in the television series adaptation of Beverly Cleary's books. This early success led to her notable role as Sara Stanley in the Canadian television series Road to Avonlea, which she played from 1990 to 1996.

As she transitioned to adult roles, Polley appeared in a diverse range of feature films, including The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, Exotica, and The Sweet Hereafter.
