היסטוריון יהודי פולני

Emanuel Ringelblum was a Polish-Jewish historian, politician, and social worker, born in 1900. He is notable for his work in documenting the experiences of Jews during a tumultuous period in Polish history. Ringelblum's efforts as a historian and social worker were marked by a commitment to chronicling the lives and struggles of his community, particularly during times of hardship and persecution.

Ringelblum's most significant contributions include his "Notes from the Warsaw Ghetto" and "Notes on the Refugees in Zbąszyn", which provide valuable insights into the deportation of Jews from Zbąszyń and life in the Warsaw Ghetto. Additionally, he is credited with the creation of the Ringelblum Archive of the Warsaw Ghetto, a collection of documents that serves as a testament to the history of the ghetto and its inhabitants. Ringelblum's life was cut short in 1944, but his work continues to be an important resource for understanding this period in history.
