Esther Farbstein

Esther Farbstein is a prominent Israeli historian specializing in the Holocaust, with a particular focus on the spiritual responses of Jews to Nazi persecution. As a leading scholar in her field, she has made significant contributions to the academic research of the Holocaust, introducing new sources that have expanded the understanding of this period. Her work has not only shed light on the experiences of Jews during World War II but has also explored the ways in which they maintained their faith and cultural identity in the face of extreme adversity.
